Christmas in India is a Secret Santa at the office, a plum cake from the neighbour, and a tree that someone in the building put up in the lobby. The gifts follow that rhythm: small, funny, generous without being expensive. This list is ten Christmas gifts that are not mithai and not a mug with a pun on it: things for the Secret Santa draw at ₹300 to ₹500, things for the friend who hosts the 25th, and a couple of proper presents for the person you actually love. Every item passed our gift rubric and ships within India; the price shown is the one we saw when we checked. Christmas is a Friday in 2026, and the courier week before it is busy with year-end sales, so order by 19 December for standard delivery.

Good questions 🙋
What is a good Secret Santa gift under ₹500 in India?＋
A Parker pen, a handmade soap set, a broke-Secret-Santa mug, a small plush, or fairy lights. This list has several picks in that band.
When should I order Christmas gifts online in India?＋
By 19 December 2026 for standard delivery in metros. Christmas is on Friday 25 December and the week before overlaps with year-end sales, which slows couriers.
Is plum cake a good Christmas gift?＋
Yes, and an eggless one means the whole building can eat it. Pair it with something that lasts, like lights or a stocking set, so the gift isn't gone in a day.
