Hi. I'm the person behind this site — a solo founder with two well-documented weaknesses: weird products and Indian festivals. The name comes from a very specific feeling. You order something slightly ridiculous — a levitating plant pot, a projector the size of a samosa — it arrives, you unbox it, and you say, out loud, "why did I buy this?!" And then, thirty seconds later: "…and can I get one for my sister?"

That second sentence is the whole business plan. The best gifts in India aren't the safe ones — they're the ones that make the room laugh at Rakhi, the ones Dadi shows to every guest for a month. But finding them means wading through ten thousand identical listings and delivery dates that treat Diwali like a surprise. So I started collecting the good stuff in one place, with honest notes about what's great andwhat's annoying about each pick.

I plan this whole thing in paper notebooks and build it with AI as my co-founder — the code, the research, the festival-deadline maths. It's a small operation with big opinions: every product is hand-picked against a 25-point rubric, every price shows the date we checked it, and every affiliate link is disclosed like it's going out of style.
