How we pick products
Every single product runs the same gauntlet before it's allowed on the site. Most don't make it.
The 25-point rubric
Five criteria, scored 0-5 each. A product needs 16 or more out of 25to get published โ no exceptions, no "but the commission is really good though".
- Uniqueness (5 pts)โ would you stop scrolling for it? If it's on every third listing page in India, it starts at zero.
- Giftability (5 pts) โ can you hand it over at a family function and get a genuine reaction? Gifts should delight on arrival, not after a demo and two YouTube tutorials.
- Image quality (5 pts)โ if the merchant's photos look like CCTV footage, we pass. You deserve to see what you're buying.
- Delivery reliability (5 pts) โ a brilliant gift that lands two days after the festival is a bad gift. We favour merchants who ship fast and pack like they care.
- Commission (5 pts)โ yes, honestly on the list. It can nudge a great product up the queue. It cannot rescue a mediocre one โ the maths simply doesn't allow it.
Commission never overrides taste.
Commission is 5 points out of 25. A product could score full marks on commission and still get rejected if it isn't genuinely good. The other 20 points belong entirely to you, the person receiving the gift.
What about sponsored stuff?
Brands can pay for placement โ but only for products that pass the same rubric first, and every paid slot is clearly labeled "Sponsored". Paid placements never appear in our organic Most-Loved rails. Money buys visibility here, never approval.
And the money side?
We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through our links โ at no extra cost to you. The full, honest breakdown of who pays us and how lives on our affiliate disclosure page. Short version: you pay the same price either way, and the rubric keeps us honest.
