9 Navratri Gifts That Are Not Mithai (2026)

Navratri runs for nine nights in October 2026 and, depending on where you are, that means garba every evening in Gujarat, golu displays in Tamil homes, Durga Puja pandals in Bengal and kanjak on Ashtami in the north. The gifts follow the region. This list is nine Navratri gifts that are not mithai: garba jewellery that jingles, a golu pair for the steps, a palm-sized Durga for the desk, kanjak return gifts by the dozen, and a dhoop burner for the evenings. Each was picked for the person, not just the festival, so it is still in use in November. Prices are what we saw on the day we checked and the merchant's page has the final word. Order early: Navratri starts on 11 October and the garba outfits and jewellery sell out first.
